Well I have finished my first week of Culinary School and I can honestly say that I really love it so far. The first half of the day when Im in the kitchen goes by so fast. The classroom classes dont go by so fast but its not bad. Some really neat people in my class. Some oddballs too. I am amazed by the rudeness of some of the people. This one lady in her 40's is an idiot as far as Im concerned. She is very rude and just ughh. The other day I held the door open for her and she acted like it was my job too. No thank you or anything. She also has dirt under her fingernails its soooo gross. You are in the freaking kitchen and going to be a chef learn to keep your nails clean. She has also had gastric bypass surgery and was talking to one of our instructors who is also a registered dietitian how she could jump start and lose more weight. Well the idiot goes out during break and will eat bags of chips and candy bars. Usually she has like 2 bags of chips and a candy bar while at school. It just makes no sense to me. Another older lady I held the door open for and she didnt say thank you either. It just irritates me. I mean come on say thank you or something. Other than a few silly people everyone else seems really cool and I am excited about getting to know them more and such.

I havent really posted lately and not doing it as much as I would like to. Im starting to get a little bit stressed about money and such. I will be bringing in about 100 bucks every 2 weeks when I start school on Monday. I have enough for about 4 car payments but thats it. Im going to have to get another job. I really want to find a job in the industry and work in a kitchen. I cant wait until I can do that. But I am just a little concerned about not being able to find one. I know my school will help me get one.

I am really excited to be starting school on Monday. I cant wait. Luckily this week has been going by fairly fast. It helps that SFB (shit for brains) is on vacation. That is making life much much easier. Well my had wont stop twitching so its hard to type so thats it for now.

Not a lot going on in my life right now. I picked a school I would like to go to. If everything works out good I will be starting on July 21st. I have decided to go ahead and do straight culinary for now and then when I get done with that go into pastry school.

I am sooo tired. I will fall asleep if I sit on the couch for more than like 10 minutes. I dont really know why my problem is right now. My mom thinks its because Im depressed but really Im not. I am content with life right now. I really think I am going to go to culinary school now I just need to decide if I would rather do culinary arts or pastry arts. And which school to go to. I am thinking the Chef's Academy because I can actually get a degree. The culinary school hooked up with The Art Institute you can only get a certificate for what I am looking to do. I guess if I do decide to do just culinary and not pastry then the Art Institute would work. I wish someone would just tell me where to go and what to do lol. That would be so much easier. Im still waiting to hear from Ivy Tech about the things I am interested in from them. I have heard from both of the culinary schools.

I really have no clue what I want to do with my life. I have sent in to get some info about early childhood education, criminal justice, and something in culinary arts. I guess once I read up on all of those I guess I will decide. I do know that I dont want to just work with my dad for ever. I want to get out of here as soon as possible. I just need to figure out what I want to do. I know at this point I just want an associates degree. Traditional college just isnt for me at this point. I think it would be really awesome to be a pastry chef but who knows.
